Rich’s:  $150 -$225 per 50-minute session-Rate varies depending on additional individual-family member

Please do not hesitate to reach out if finances are a concern. We offer a limited amount of reduced rate fee appointments. We do our best to insure finances do not prevent you from getting the support you’re seeking.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards, cash, and check, Zelle or Venmo money transfers.

Using Insurance for Richard Sypniewski

Many individuals choose not to go through insurance in order to maintain the highest degree of flexibility and privacy over their treatment. Insurance companies require a diagnosis and have access to sessions, which is not always ideal for every client.

Currently, Richard Sypniewski is the only practice member accepting insurance plans, Anthem Blue Cross and Tricare West.He is an out-of-network provider with most PPO plans. Payment is made at the time of the session. If you choose, you can seek reimbursement for a portion of your session. Please contact your insurance provider and ask about their “Out of Network” coverage for mental health services. If you are seeking reimbursement, I will provide you with a “superbill” which will state your diagnosis and other necessary information you need to submit to your insurance company.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.

Insurane Continued
If your insurance company is not listed, Richard Sypniewski can still see you as a cash pay client or as an Out-Of-Network Provider, then will give you what is called a Superbill receipt for reimbursement on your end. Many insurance companies will reimburse a portion of my hourly rate. It is your responsibility to seek reimbursement on your own, but I can guide and help you in this process. My contracted companies typically only have applicable co-payments and deductibles when using insurance while remainder is billed to the insurance company only. An insurance company may be billed at a higher rate due to the complexity of an individual session and client(s) and/or multiple family members being serviced. Please ask me if you have any questions about your insurance and I can help you understand your policies and specific co-payments and/or deductibles required.

A number of carriers will do what is called a "Single Case Agreement," which allows a "Out of Network" provider to see a client and will pay the in-network rate. Please contact me to discuss possibly forming this agreement. If we cannot form this agreement a billing receipt can be provided. I will contact your insurance company to verify your coverage. You will be responsible for all co-pays required by your insurance company. You always have the option to see me outside your insurance and are never obligated to use insurance. I accept personal checks, cash and all credit cards.


*Higher rate ranges include some variable increases due to the complexity-Intensive Counseling of an individual session-times and client(s) and/or multiple family members being serviced.

What Is a In-Network Single-Case Agreement?

Due to my unique and specialized services, a single case agreement may be established. A single case agreement is a contract between an individual patient’s insurance company and treatment provider, which allows that patient to be treated as though he or she has in-network benefits. Insurance providers who offer single-case contracts will review potential agreements on a by-patient basis. It’s important to note that the agreement is specific to the current episode of care and does not apply to care outside of this treatment episode.

Cash and all major credit cards are accepted for payment as well, but Zelle eliminates me keying in your credit card to any automated system or using it on an ongoing basis. Thus, increasing security and fraud protection.
