Diana Flores is a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) who is also an elementary school counselor. Previous to being an APPC, Diana has worked with high school students to help them navigate and find a college or career that fits their passions and needs. An asset in this role was that she is a Latina first generation college graduate. Diana is currently an elementary school counselor who believes in helping students through a holistic approach, academically, socially, and emotionally. She obtained her Masters in Counseling and Guidance from California State University, San Bernardino. Diana works with a Narrative Therapy approach, where it views problems as separate from people and allows people to rewrite and take control of their narrative we call life. Diana emphasizes building a therapeutic relationship where she stands alongside her clients and supports them build their preferred narrative.
